Heating Equipment
Resistive heating tapes refer to rectangular metal strips with rounded corners in cross-section. Their thickness ranges from 0.025 mm to 2 mm, while their width is usually less than 5 mm. The width-to-thickness ratio varies from 2:1 to 50:1, and so on. Due to the strip-like shape factor, they are sometimes referred to as ultra-narrow flat strips. Compared to the most common round wires, resistive heating tapes offer several unique advantages in terms of heat dissipation, welding interface surface, corrosion resistance, and tensile strength control.
Resistive heating tapes are widely used in high-end instruments, electrical components, vacuum parts, resistive devices, and the lead wires and mechanical parts of semiconductor equipment. Strips with widths of 2 mm or smaller address the shortcomings of ultra-narrow strips, which cannot be achieved by simply dividing the tape.
