Sinton Industrial Park conducts fire emergency drills to strengthen the park's "firewall".
Organized fire safety drills
To enhance safety awareness within the industrial park and in response to the "119" Fire Safety Awareness Month, on November 29th, Sinton Industrial Park organized a fire emergency drill for its companies, themed "Full Participation, Practical Training," to comprehensively test the park's emergency response and handling capabilities.
Fire Emergency Drill
At 3 PM, the drill commenced amidst simulated smoke. Upon hearing the alarm, employees quickly covered their mouths and noses with damp towels and evacuated in an orderly manner along the safety exits. Evacuation guides directed the evacuation, ensuring unobstructed passageways and the safety of personnel. Within 5 minutes, all personnel reached the assembly point and completed a headcount. The entire drill proceeded smoothly and efficiently.
This drill simulated scenarios such as a warehouse fire and blocked passageways, focusing on assessing the ability to activate emergency plans, evacuate personnel, and handle initial fire situations.
Fire Safety Training
During the subsequent practical training, safety officers demonstrated the "lift, pull, grip, and press" operation steps of a fire extinguisher and the use of fire hydrants. Employees were divided into groups to practice extinguishing oil pan fires, experiencing the process firsthand. "Practical experience helped me understand how to deal with fires more clearly," said one participating employee.
Sinton Industrial Park always regards safety as its lifeline. In recent years, through the implementation of a safety responsibility system and routine hazard inspections, the park has established a safety management system that prioritizes prevention and combines prevention with firefighting. Next, the park will optimize evacuation signage, add emergency lighting, and continue to improve its safety capabilities.
