      Description

      1. Structural design

      This heater uses etched nickel-chromium alloy foil sheets (with a thickness of 0.0001"-0.0005") as conductive heating elements, sandwiched between two layers of polyimide films (with a thickness of 0.002"), and forms an integrated structure through high-temperature and high-pressure heat sealing process. Some models are covered with FEP adhesive or silicone rubber layer outside the polyimide layer to enhance mechanical stability and environmental resistance. The overall thickness is usually between 0.09mm and 0.14mm, with the thinnest reaching 0.10mm, combining lightness, thinness and flexibility.

      2. Working Principle

      After being electrified, the nickel-chromium alloy foil generates Joule heat, which is uniformly conducted to the heated object through the polyimide film. Polyimide film not only provides electrical insulation (dielectric strength > 100kV/mm), but also can withstand extreme temperatures and chemical corrosion.
